Payments and supported countries
https://docs.gravv.xyz/docs/transfers#/Every customer must have an account before accessing Gravv features. Creating an account provides a wallet address and a virtual account. Customers use these to send and receive money. Gravv stores funds in stablecoins regardless of how money enters or leaves the account.
Pay-in methods
Customers can receive money into their accounts in two ways:
-
Through their blockchain wallet address:
When you create an account, Gravv automatically generates a blockchain wallet address. Customers can receive stablecoins directly to this address from external wallets or exchanges. Gravv supports both USDC and USDT, depending on the blockchain network backing the account.
Each account can only receive stablecoins on its blockchain network, and the specific stablecoin depends on which network backs the account. For example, if Polygon backs an account, it can receive either USDC or USDT sent on the Polygon network. However, if Stellar backs an account, it can only receive USDC sent on the Stellar network.
The table below shows which stablecoins each blockchain network accepts:
| Blockchain network | Supported stablecoins |
|---|---|
| Polygon | USDC, USDT |
| Ethereum | USDC, USDT |
| Stellar | USDC |
| Solana | USDC |
| Avalanche | USDC |
| Sui | USDC |
| Tron | USDT |
- Through their virtual account for wire transfers:
Gravv also provides traditional virtual account details that customers can use to receive funds via ACH or Wire transfer. When customers receive funds through their virtual account, Gravv converts the incoming fiat currency to stablecoins and credits the account balance.
-
Card to wallet funding:
Customers can add funds to their wallets using credit or debit cards. Gravv processes the card payment and deposits the equivalent stablecoin value into the customer’s account.
-
Local collection:
Customers can receive funds using local payment methods through Gravv’s collections. This pay-in method supports cards, bank transfers, and mobile money. When a customer initiates a payment, the API returns instructions that guide them through the process in their local currency.
Pay-out methods
Customers can send money from their accounts in five ways:
- To a blockchain wallet address
- To an internal account (another Gravv account)
- To a US bank account via ACH or Wire transfer
- To a global bank account for international transfers
- To a mobile money account
For more information on how to make transfers to the different pay-out methods, see Transfers.
